Uprise Energy 10kW Portable Wind Turbine

Today I wanted to share photos from some of the testing we have been doing lately. Since our portable wind turbine is “portable,” it is easy for us to go to where the wind is. Here are some images from testing done on Fiesta Island, Jamul, and in our back yard here at Uprise headquarters.

Here is a video showing the set up and then the wind turbine in operation in Jamul. it only took 36 minutes from the time the tow vehicle was disconnected from the trailer to the first rotation of the wind turbine's rotor. This video shows the setup procedure and the turbine running in 4.5-5.5 m/s wind speed.

When setup, the 10kW portable wind turbine stands 20m tall with a 7m diameter rotor and an 11m diameter footprint.
