Today we have an exciting announcement! Uprise Energy has been selected to showcase our Portable Wind Turbine at the AFWERX Base of the Future initiative - also known as the AFWERX Fusion 2020 showcase. This is an event put on by the United States Air Force comprising of six challenges. You can view more detailed information here.
The goal of the event is to find companies who are leveraging technology in new and innovative ways which can help the Air Force with challenges such as improvements to service member’s well being, base security, improved efficiencies for operational effectiveness, and much more. Our clean energy solution fits into the “Increasing base resiliency by creating stronger infrastructure and the ability to bounce back quickly” category.
This is a tremendous opportunity for us. We will be able to demonstrate our Portable Wind Turbine to high ranking military and government officials as well as have extensive networking time with other companies who will be interested in what Uprise Energy has to offer.
In order to qualify for the event, Uprise Energy had to participate in a screening process and be selected. This video was part of our submission:
