Uprise Energy was selected to partake in the “VERGE Accelerate” online event this year, also referred to as “VERGE 20.” The event is a program designed to accelerate the clean economy by helping startups who have innovative new ideas and technology. The VERGE series of events is put on by GreenBiz, a media and events company that is highly respected in the environmental sustainability industry. From the VERGE 20 website:
Back in September 2019, Uprise Energy’s CEO Jonathan Knight was selected to be a presenter at the 24th World Energy Congress in Abu Dhabi. This is an event put on by the World Energy Council, which is the world’s largest and most influential energy event covering all aspects of the energy agenda. It is an event which takes place every three years, and it started in 1924. The 2019 event was attended by over 18,000 attendees from 146 countries. This includes world leaders, tech giants, and organizations which focus on identifying innovative startup companies.
